After working in her aunt’s salon in 2011, Danielle fell in love with the industry and has since become one of The Loft’s cut and colour experts. She loves transforming her clients’ hair to give them a fresh new look and has a gift for recommending the right treatments and products so everyone can put their healthiest hair forward. Known for her creativity, upbeat personality and wanderlust, Danielle loves going to the beach and doing yoga in her spare time.

Behind the chair since 2010, Leslie is best known for her work with men’s hair but is a woman of many talents. Certified in straight-razor shaves, she specializes in bald fades and men’s cuts, and can also do a mean balayage and ombré. The second-youngest of seven children, Leslie loves spending time with her family, trying new restaurants and adding to her purse and shoe collections.

20+ years

After 21 years in the business, Kevin has done it all but has a special knack for blondes, as well as cuts, colours and highlights. He always looks forward to catching up with his loyal clients and keeps them laughing through their appointments. A career highlight includes winning a fantasy hair competition three times, his passion and positivity shining through in his work. Known as the life of the party, Kevin loves the beach, rollerblading, and spending time with friends and family.

His passion for hair fueling a successful career in the industry, Gerald became the owner of The Loft in 2015. Known for his honest, straightforward consultations, he is always up for a challenge, from simply growing out bangs to transforming box-colour black to an ashy blonde. With over 17 years of experience, Gerald loves creating natural styles à la Victoria's Secret, with balayage and classic highlights among his favourite looks. He enjoys spending time at the cottage, traveling and furthering his education at top salons across North America.

Nickname: Jerryboy because it was my first hotmail account name. It stuck!

With 14 years of experience, David has always been passionate about hair and delights in working with his clients to find their perfect look. He enjoys staying on top of the latest trends, especially when it comes to blondes, balayage and short hair, and strives to make his clients look and feel their best. When he's not behind the chair, David loves spending time outdoors at boot camp and yoga, and holds a special place in his heart for steak dinners and red wine.

While working as a makeup artist and salon coordinator, Kayla saw her passion for hair reach new lengths. She recently made the move to The Loft, where she works her magic with hair and faces every day. Known for her work in special effects makeup, she also loves more traditional looks. Though her career in hair is just beginning, Kayla is excited to see what the future holds and plans to further her career by taking professional courses every chance she gets. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her son, decorating cakes and playing with makeup.

Kristen has a natural ability for precision cutting and recently discovered a passion for hair extension. With 17 years of experience behind her, including courses at Toni & Guy in New York City and Vidal Sassoon in Los Angeles, she often speaks at hair schools to demonstrate some of the latest trends in updos, cuts and colouring. She loves when clients tell her that their hair boosts their self-confidence and helps them express who they are. When she's not cutting hair, Kristen enjoys gardening, improving her yard and going on river walks with her pets.   Favourite restaurant: Wasabi Sushi Idol: Vidal Sassoon (his haircuts are so clean, technical, and cut to perfection) One word to describe Kristen: Passionate    

Following in her mother’s footsteps, Celia entered the industry more than 13 years ago. She specializes in updos, cuts and styling, and clients keep coming back for her helpful styling tips so they can recreate their looks at home. Her career highlights include winning a medal for fantasy hair and entering a styling competition for Bumble and Bumble in New York City. When she’s not making her clients feel like a million dollars, Celia loves hitting Winnipeg’s patio scene with friends.

Lindsay is a small-town girl who loves to make her clients feel good about themselves. A hairstylist for almost five years, she specializes in men’s cuts and installing I-tip extensions. Her tension-melting head massages leave clients feeling amazing and have been known to cause extreme relaxation. When Lindsay isn’t busy cutting hair, she can be found in the country with family and friends, fishing or wakeboarding.

After working as a hairstylist for several years, Andrew made the move to The Loft’s front desk, where he enjoys meeting and greeting people every day. He has a knack for making connections with all of the salon’s clients, who can’t get enough of his genuine, happy demeanour and bubbly personality. When he’s not working, you can find Andrew at the beach or park, spending time with friends, or snapping photos on Instagram or Snapchat.

With 25 years of experience behind her, Laura is an expert in all things customer service. A multitasking extraordinaire, she prides herself on going above and beyond to ensure that all of The Loft’s clients are 100 per cent satisfied with their experience. When she’s not busy connecting with people at the salon, she enjoys spending time with friends and family.
